The Lander Head Start center provides full-day services. We will offer a single blended classroom with 3 and 4 year old’s.
Center Hours: 8:15 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday (Serving breakfast, lunch and snack).

Miss Cherokee Hornecker
Has her Child Development Credential and is working towards her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
Was a Teacher Aide for the program for 4 years before taking over as Teacher in 2024.

I love being a part of children’s learning. I learn as much from them as they do from me!

A Little about you…
I have two children that both attended Head Start
I have been married for 10 years and I help him operate our ranch.
I am the first family member to graduate high school and go on to college.
