The Powell Early Head Start program serves pregnant women and children 0-3 years of age in a home-based setting.

The Powell Head Start program will offer 2 different full-day classrooms.

POWELL 1:
Full-Day class for 4 year olds from 8:15am-3:30pm Monday-Thrusday
(serving breakfast, lunch, and a PM snack)

POWELL 2:
Full-Day blended class for 3 and 4 year old’s from 8:15am to 3:30pm
Monday-Thursday
(serving breakfast, lunch and a PM snack)

Powell 1 Classroom Teacher

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Physical Education

  • Currently working on Early Childhood Education endorsement

  • Started working at Head Start in 2020

  • I am married and have six children (all boys!)

  • I have fifteen grandchildren an one more coming in April
